Love our City

Generous Living
We believe that we have a generous God. God’s own son, Jesus, was a gift to his creation. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son…” (John 3:16). Jesus demonstrated to us a life of generosity by giving of his time, his talent and his treasures. In the end he gave his life for our spiritual freedom. So, we hold generosity as a value by choosing to give liberally of our time, talents and treasures to the service of others, being good stewards of all that God has given. Our prayer is that in doing so, all of the resources of God will be available to do the work of his Kingdom not only in our community but also around the world.

Serve Meals

The Serve Meals ministry was created out of our community's desire to care more intentionally for some of the physical needs present at Lake Ridge and in our city. Serve Meals is designed for one-time practical acts of service through food. Ready made meals to pop in the oven and dropped off my our volunteers. Click the link to request a meal or get involved to serve.

For the Food Bank

For the Food Bank is a unique response to a need in the City of Chestermere. The pandemic has brought all kinds of challenges to our community and especially at the Chestermere Food Bank. The number of clients in 2020 increased from an average of 76 to over 450 clients per month. The Chestermere Food Bank is there for anyone who is facing a food emergency. Join us in raising $25,000 to cover the cost of the food hampers for the month of December at the Chestermere Food Bank.

Because going hungry is not an option. Feed the need in your city. Get involved below.

Local Partners

Lake Ridge Community Church cares deeply about loving and serving our neighbours and the City of Chestermere. We have partnerships with agencies that work directly within our neighbourhoods and with organizations that serve across the city. From supporting block parties to community care, we love our city.

Reach out to individual organizations for ways to get involved.

Into the Neighbourhood

COMMUNITY CHAPLAINCY

Lake Ridge Community Church loves our front line workers. Pastor Preston serves as the RCMP chaplain for the Chestermere detachment as part of the K Division Volunteer Chaplain Program.
