Spring Fundraisers

SWITCH is the youth ministry at Lake Ridge for students in grades 7 – 12.

Not just a youth group.

A movement. A mission.

A future in motion.

Support our Teens!

In summer 2027, our teens have the opportunity to attend Unite, the triennial youth conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Unite is five unforgettable days of worship, teaching, prayer, high energy activities, and meaningful service — a formative experience that invites students into deeper faith and shared life.

The conference will be held in Lincoln, Nebraska, and over the next year our teens will be fundraising to help cover their costs. Thank you for considering how you can support them.

Rain Barrel Sales (closes April 17, 2026)

After last summer’s water outages, we all know how valuable stored water can be. Buying a rain barrel is a practical way to conserve water — and support Lake Ridge youth.

Order at https://rainbarrel.ca/lakeridgeyouth/ for high quality, affordable rain barrels, rolling composters, downspout diverters, wooden stands, and accessories.

Pick-up: Saturday, April 25, 2026 • 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Camp Chestermere (1041 East Lakeview Road)

Home delivery is also available starting April 25 and continuing daily until complete.

“May We Help You” – Spring Cleaning

Need an extra hand with spring cleaning or yard work? Our teens are offering a spring cleaning service to raise funds for their 2027 Unite trip.

Book two teens for two hours for $60. Sign up at the youth table at church on Apr 19, 26 or May 3 to get help with yard work, cleaning, or other tasks you choose.

When: Saturday May 9 or 16 2026, weather dependant

Never-Ending Bottle Drive

When you visit the Chestermere Bottle Depot (behind Safeway), you can donate your refund to “Lake Ridge Community Church.” The Bottle Depot will add an extra 10% to every donation.

This fundraiser runs continuously until our youth leave for Unite in July 2027 — an easy, year round way to make a difference.
