Exile: Grace and mercy

We are exploring a theme that threads its way through the whole Bible: Exile. A pivotal moment in the story of God's people is when they lost everything and were taken away. But according to prophets like Jeremiah, God saw that they had lost more than their stuff, they lost their way. Pastor Preston explores the ways in which God loves us there and back again. Pastor Preston shares this week the story in 1 Peter 2:10-12 and the grace and mercy that we experience in exile. Exiled people become mature people of God, who work and rest in rhythm with God.
